Emma Beatrice Leighton is a performer, educator, and voice instructor with over twelve years of classical vocal training and a passion for helping students discover confident, healthy, and expressive voices. Holding an MFA in Performance and Pedagogy from Texas Tech University, Emma combines professional performance experience with evidence-based teaching practices to create lessons that are both technically rigorous and artistically engaging.

Drawing from her background in musical theatre, opera, acting, and performance studies, Emma works with singers of all experience levels, helping them develop vocal technique, breath support, musical interpretation, stage presence, and performance confidence. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes building strong vocal foundations while encouraging each student’s unique artistic voice.

Emma believes that singing should be both disciplined and joyful. Whether preparing for auditions, performances, competitions, or personal growth, her students are challenged to develop technical excellence while cultivating creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of music. She is committed to creating an encouraging learning environment where every singer feels empowered to take risks, grow as an artist, and find confidence in their own sound.
